How do I produce my own N2 ?Low pressure N2 can be produced by separating oxygen and nitrogen in air by using the pressure swing adsorption (PSA) process. Dry & oil-free compressed air produced in our Compressed Air System enters the PSA Nitrogen Generator and is first stored in the Dry Air Receiver from where it enters the PSA System. Here the oxygen is adsorbed by the Carbon Molecular Sieves and nitrogen comes out as a product gas.
What are the benefits of producing your own N2 ?
You save lot of money - cost of N2 from Generator is just 20% to 40% of N2 from cylinder. It gives N2 of better and consistent purity than that available from cylinders, which are known to have O2 varying from 0.5% to 4% ( actual measurements taken by us).
